Summary for DevDeal Customers
DevDeal offers digital subscription tiers and platform credits that grant software developers immediate access to review and claim project deals published by clients. Because access and credit quotas are provisioned digitally upon payment confirmation, there are no physical products to ship or return.
1. Digital Services & No Physical Returns
DevDeal (devdeal.vercel.app) operates a real-time digital software development marketplace. We connect clients seeking software development with independent software developers who compete to claim and execute posted projects.
All products and services provided by DevDeal—including Developer Subscriptions (Pro Tier and Power Tier) and deal claim credits—are purely digital, electronic services. Because no physical goods are delivered or shipped, traditional physical product return or exchange mechanisms do not apply.
2. Subscriptions & Platform Credits
Developer access to claim projects is managed through monthly digital subscription plans:
- Pro Plan ($19 / month): Grants 40 monthly deal claim credits, rollover capability up to a maximum cap of 80 credits, and direct real-time communication tools with project clients.
- Power Plan ($49 / month): Grants 120 monthly deal claim credits, rollover capability up to a maximum cap of 240 credits, priority deal visibility, and advanced workflow access.
Credits are consumed at the rate of 1 credit each time a developer claims an available project on the marketplace. Claim credits serve as a commitment and rate-limiting mechanism to maintain high project execution quality and prevent speculative spam.
3. Subscription Cancellation
Developers may cancel their recurring monthly subscription at any time directly through their Developer Portal dashboard settings.
Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period.
- You will not be billed for subsequent billing cycles following the date of cancellation.
- Cancellation does not automatically trigger a retroactive cash or cryptocurrency refund for billing periods that have already commenced or expired.
4. Unused Credits & Rollover Terms
DevDeal provides rollover protection for active subscribers. If you do not use all of your monthly allocated credits within a given billing cycle, unused credits automatically roll over into the next month, up to your plan's specified rollover cap (80 credits for Pro; 240 credits for Power).
Credit Non-Refundability: Platform credits hold no cash, monetary, or cryptocurrency surrender value outside of the DevDeal platform. Unused credits cannot be cashed out, redeemed for legal tender, or transferred to other accounts.
If an account subscription is cancelled and allowed to lapse past the end of the paid period, accumulated credits remain linked to your account profile in accordance with DevDeal account retention policies, but new deal claims will require an active subscription tier.
5. Payment Failures & Billing Discrepancies
Payments on DevDeal are processed securely through authorized external payment infrastructure (including Paymos crypto payment protocols).
A. Payment Succeeded but Credits Not Credited
If your payment transaction is confirmed on the blockchain or verified by the payment processor but your subscription status or credits fail to reflect in your Developer Dashboard due to a network delay or webhook synchronization lag, our automated system re-attempts synchronization. If your balance does not update within 30 minutes, contact support with your invoice or transaction ID for immediate credit reconciliation.
B. Duplicate or Unauthorized Transactions
In the rare event that an automated billing error results in duplicate charges for the same billing cycle, or if you identify an unauthorized charge originated without your permission, DevDeal will investigate and issue a full correction or refund for the duplicated charge upon verification.
6. Case-by-Case Refund Inquiries
DevDeal does not offer unconditional or “100% money-back guarantee” claims, as digital access and platform capacity are provisioned immediately upon upgrade.
However, we review refund requests in good faith on a case-by-case basis under genuine exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Documented technical platform outages preventing account access for an extended duration.
- Verifiable system errors that prevented credit allocation where manual resolution was impossible.
- Erroneous double payments confirmed by payment gateway logs.
Refund requests must be submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days of the disputed billing date. Requests submitted after 14 days or requests where credits have already been substantially consumed in successful project claims are generally not eligible.
7. How to Submit a Billing Inquiry
To inquire about a transaction, report a billing anomaly, or request assistance with your subscription, please submit your request through your active DevDeal account portal or contact the DevDeal administrative team.
Please provide the following details in your inquiry:
- Your registered DevDeal account email address.
- Your developer account profile ID.
- Invoice ID, External Order ID, or Transaction Hash (for crypto transactions).
- A concise description of the billing discrepancy or issue encountered.
DevDeal billing investigations are typically reviewed and addressed within 1–2 business days.
